About the Workshop

‘Tooling’ with leather is the process of carving, stamping and embossing a design on leather, often seen on leather saddles You will be guided through the process of tracing your design, carving and embossing a beautiful leaf design, then dyeing and polishing the finished piece We will also use stamps to create simple patterns on a leather key fob and learn how to set a rivet to finish off Don’t worry if your ‘ not artistic’ there will be a range of designs from simple to more complex, but everyone always comes away with something they are happy with Perfect to keep for yourself or a gift for a loved one This workshop uses knives and involves a fair amount of light hammering so over 18’s only Helen has been working with leather for more than 10 years, trading as Buffalo Vision She enjoys the versatility of leather work and it’s strength and longevity as a material What’s included : Expert tuition All materials Welcome drink Great company in a friendly environment Workshops are on the 1st floor accessible by steps Refund & cancellation policy As we are a small business refunds and cancellations are non refundable or transferable to protect our time and work gone into preparing a workshop Should something out of the blue happen here at Dolly’s snd we need to cancel you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund
